Let me start by saying this,
Thank you.
If you're reading this, chances are you've supported me before, maybe you bought a ticket, came to a show, reposted a flyer, or just told someone,
| “Yo, you gotta check this out.”
Because of that, because of you, I’m still here.
Still dreaming.
Still building.
Still believing that this big vision God gave me, to create a space in Philly where artists can produce, perform, and thrive, is not just possible, it's happening.
That vision, it’s called the Jasai Theater Festival.
This Festival Was Built From a Dream
The dream has always been bigger than just putting on plays. It’s about creating a table, not just waiting to be invited to one. It’s about building a home for stories that never get the stage time they deserve.
This August, we return to Plays and Players Theater with two original stage plays, an awards ceremony a Black Business Tour, Open Mic Night and so much more. Every event and every moment has been curated to reflect the heartbeat of this city and the spirit of our artistic passion.
Passion Alone Doesn’t Pay the Bills
I’ve spent years bouncing between gigs, launching side businesses, and creating new business models, not just because I’m ambitious, but because
| begging people to buy tickets can't sustain an artist’s life.
Like most of my team, I wear more than one hat. I run branding consultations. I produce apparel. I build internship programs. All to make sure the art can breathe and the artists around me can eat.
The festival is a dream. But it’s also a blueprint for sustainability, built on community, creativity, and faith.
And the reason I haven’t given up on this?
| You.
Your belief. Your reposts. Your presence in those red velvet seats. That’s what keeps the curtain rising.

This is for the playwright with a voice and no venue.

The dreamer who still believes in art that heals.
We're not waiting to be picked anymore.
We built the stage. All that’s left is for you to show up and sit with us.
